Currently the team's main focus is to train Coen De Jong. He's doing fine so far and there is still a little money left for some more training camps.
Sepp Veldkamp earns money with T9 results all over the world and with 2 time trials coming up I expect him to win some more. We've also been promoted to Division 7, which was rewarded by a financial boost of $10.000.
I've said my goodbye's to 2 more riders, Tijl Heersprink & Tijmen Wander and now there are only 9 riders left. That leaves the team with little options to earn more money, besides the jobs we can do obviously. So the last weeks I've been thinking about the future? I see two options:
1) Approach the game from a recreational point of view: Train Coen with all the money I earn. See how he develops and start earning some money with Sepp and Coen for the future of the team. This depends heavily on how high Coen will max but he will have to do it without any good teammates for sure, because there is no more money.
2) Approach this game from a financial point of view: Try to earn as much money as possible to in the end buy good riders, staff and possibly equipment as well. Spent 2/3 seasons purely on making money and after those 2/3 seasons we can build a team and try to get to the top.
DP Trading was something I figured out myself when I understood that you want to sell your riders with the maximum amount of DP (and RS > 80). After reading about it on the forum's it got me excited but it also doesn't really feel like a lot of fun. For now I get the most fun out of training and racing with my own boys, but of course we want to get to the top division (not necessarily Div1) as well.
I'll probably train Coen first and decide what to do next after he's maxxed. Let's hope that doesn't happen for a long while :-)

My way of making it to DIV2 - train, race, train, race... Do some DP training when You can, save money by not buying equipment. Its a hard way, but I find it best fun. Good luck.
Good luck with Coen de Jong :-)
